Understanding English Social Behaviour
Pictogram Narratives: Understanding the English Social Behaviour was the result of my Major Project made during my MA Graphic Design course at LCC. It is a graphic design investigation that explores the English social behaviour through the use of pictograms and icons. The narratives presented in this book represent some social situations that I encountered and witnessed during my first year in London. The narratives report to how english people react and behave with each other in a variety of social ocasions.
This project is the result of a deep research into englishness, english stereotypes and social behaviour.
In the images below I present some pages of the Output of my project: a book of 177 pages, where there are represented concepts regarding the weather, work, transportation and other situations. This book was supported by the Major Project Report, where I explain the process and the context of research, and also by a Visual Summary, where I show all the collected imagery that helped me achieve the final artwork.
